March 19: Moderate breeze north to light east wind fair and cool first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light wind to moderate and fresh breeze south fair weather to rain - Sea quite smooth - Keeper writing in office & spadeing garden - 1st asst planting garden - 2nd asst cutting wood - Barometer 29.68 to 29.94

March 20: Moderate breeze South to light West wind these 24 hours first part of 24 hours rain - Last part of 24 hours light rain showers and fair weather - Sea quite smooth - Barometer 29.82 to 29.90 - 1st asst went to Newport - 2nd asst cutting wood - Keeper spadeing and planing garden today

March 21: Light wind and moderate breeze West these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours frequent rain and hail showers - Last part of 24 hours light rain showers and fair - Sea rough - Barometer 29.80 to 29.96 - Keeper and asst cleaning out the water closet today

March 22: Moderate breeze South with rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours fresh breeze to gale S. to S. West rain and hail - Sea rough - General duties for the day Barometer 29.90 to 29.94 - Keeper went to Newport after mail & supplies

March 23: Fresh breeze S. West to light East wind first part of 24 hours with rain hail & snow - Last part of 24 hours light North wind fair and light showery weather - Sea very rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.42 to 29.60 - Keeper went about one mile from sta on business

March 24: Light North to East and S. East wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours clear fine and cool - Last part of 24 hours fair and cloudy - Sea rough - Barometer 29.72 to 29.88 - Keeper and 2nd asst washing - 1st asst spading garden - Keeper working on quarterly reports today

March 25: Light South wind to fresh breeze North these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours rain - Last part of 24 hours frequent rain and hail squalls and fair weather - Sea rough - Barometer 29.80 to 30.20 - 1st asst repairing fence arround the Keepers dwelling showing three visitors in the Tower and went fishing - Keeper & 2nd asst went to Newport to vote at the Primaries

March 26: Light variable winds these 24 hours with light rain and ??? weather - Sea quite rough - Barometer 30.20 - 1st asst working in garden and went fishing - 2nd asst spadeing garden - Keeper working in garden and planting potatoes & working on reports

March 27: Light wind to moderate breeze North thse 24 hours with frequent light rain showers - Sea quite rough - Barometer 30.34 to 30.27 - 1st asst went to newport after mail and supplies and spading garden - Keeper planting peas - 2nd asst spadeing and planting garden today

March 28: Light wind to moderate and fresh breeze North these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours cloudy - Last part of 24 hours clear fine and cool - Sea quite smooth - Barometer 30.30 - Keeper mixing paint - 2nd asst to paint in his quarters - 2nd asst spadeing in his garden and putting alabaster on walls of his quarters - 1st asst spadeing in his garden & went fishing - Keeper writing in office

March 29: Moderate breeze to light North wind these 24 hours - clear fine and cool - Sea very smooth - Barometer 30.20 to 29.94 - 1st asst went fishing - Keeper spadeing garden and cleaning paint brushes - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail & supplies - Keeper writing in office

March 30: Light wind to fresh breeze East and moderate breeze South these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea very smooth - Barometer 29.88 - Keeper working on quarterly reports to Inspector & Engineers - 1st asst went ocean fishing - 2nd asst went trout fishing 3 miles from the station

March 31: Fresh breeze S. to light North wind these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours light rain - Last part of 24 hours fair - Sea quite rough - Barometer 29.83 to 29.70 - Keeper went to newport to get supplies and post monthly and quarterly reports - 2nd asst cleaning wood work in his quarters to paint - 1st asst spadeing garden - and went fishing
