Dear Sister Edith:

I just received your postal
an hour or so ago and I went down to the express office.
But being Sunday, the expressman wasn't
there. So I will go down at 5 o'clock this evening
again for there is a train that pulls in about that
time and stops and the expressman will be there,
I think. There is no doubt but the package
which you sent is there for I could see,
through the window, a large package of some
kind for somebody and I will bet you a
quarter, it is for me from yourself. What
will you bet?? As for sending me anything,
you need not mind for I know your word is good.
Besides, I am working now and can get along very
well now. I commenced work last Tuesday.
