1 qt milk sweetened to
taste and flavored with
vanilla not quite 1/4 lb
Bakers Chocolate scraped +
dissolved. Slowly beat yolks
of 3 eggs with 2 tablespoons
corn starch, boil up once
more. Pour [in?] a dish
beat whites of eggs +
spread on top with
cracked almonds + course
sugar

Pudding Sailor Duff

1 egg 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup
mollases 2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon soda
dissolved in warm water
Beat well + add 1/2 cup
boiling water, and steam
1 hour
