Sauce for pudding
yolks of 2 eggs 1 cup
powdered sugar, beat
together 1/2 cup cherry wine
+ 1/2 pint whipped cream

Hard Sauce for
pudding
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon cream
1/3 cup butter 1 teaspoon
vanilla

Boiled Custard
2 cups milk yolks of 3
eggs lightly beaten with
1/4 cup sugar + 1/2
teaspoon butter, nutmeg +
salt. put milk + eggs in
double boiler. Stir constantly
till it thickens + sticks
to spoon while hot add
whites beaten stiff with
1 teaspoon vanilla
