yolk of one egg
1 tablespoon Sugas
Mix these together
then add 2 1/2 cups flou[r
1 cup boiling water
2 teaspoons soda
spices to taste

Filling

1 cup Sugar with
enough to disolve it
and boil to a syrup
add 1 cup chopped
raisens and beaten
white of egg. Spread
between the layers
