Cucumber pickle

Slice 1 qt cucumbers
thin and sprinkle with
salt. let stand 2 hours
then drain. add
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 " mustard seed
1 tumeric, few whole cloves
1 large onion
1 green pepper
cover with vinegar
boil 5 minutes
put in glass cans
