Pumpkin Pie

2 C milk
2 C strained cooked pumpkin
¾ C sugar
2 well beaten egg yolks
2 well beaten egg whites
3 TB molasses
1 TB melted butter
1 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
½ t salt

Mix ingredients. Lastly
fold in stiffly beaten whites.
Bake in one crust pie about 45 min.

Vegetable Soup

3 C chopped vegetables, (carrots, turnips, celery knob,
cabbage, onions, beans)
6 C boiling water
1 C strained tomatoes
