Pineapple Salad
Fruit Salad
Brown Bread Sandwiches
Reception Cocoa
Cup cakes
Pineapple Salad and Dressing
¼ C orange juice | ½ C sugar |
¼ C lemon juice | 2 egg yolks |
¼ C pineapple juice | ½ C whipped cream |
Heat fruit juice in a double
boiler slowly, add sugar and beaten
egg yolks. Cook over hot water,
stirring till mixture thickens.
Cool. Let stand on ice several hrs.
Just before serving salad whip
cream till stiff, add enough of
cooked mixture until dressing
has the right consistency, serve
sliced pineapple on lettuce leaves.
