Raisin Scones


2c sifted flour 1 egg beaten
3 t baking powder ⅓ c rich milk
2 Tb sugar 1c raisins
1 t salt cinnamon - sugar
¼ c shortening

Mix and sift dry ing. [ingredients] Cut in
shortening until consistency of fine meal.
Mix egg and milk together into flour
mixture. Fold in raisins. Turn dough
onto a floured board and roll out ½"
