Brush with mik and sprinkle with
cinnamon sugar Cut into squares and
bake in hot oven (450) 12 minutes. 2 doz.

Honey Crisps

2 sifted flour	1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 T baking powder
½ t salt	1 egg
½ C. shortening	1 C. oats
½ C. honey	1 C. raisins

Sift dry ingred. together. Cream
shortening, gradually add honey and
sugar mixing well. Add eggs and butter.
Add flour . Blend in oats and raisins
drop by teaspoons greased sheet.
Bake in mod. oven (375°) 10- 12 minutes

Lemon Cookies

1½ C. sifted flour	1 egg	grated rind of lemon
1 t salt	¼ t baking powder
1/3 C. shortening	2 Tb. boiling water
½ C. sugar	1 Tb. lemon juice
