Bishop's Cake

3 eggs, well beaten	¼ lb semi sweet choc
1 C. gran. sugar	2 C. coarsely chopped walnuts
1½ sifted all purp flour
1½ t baking powder	1 C. coarsely chopped dates

Combine eggs & sugar, beat well,
sift dry ingredients together, Cut choc
size of lima beans. Add with nuts
and fruit to flour mixture. Fold into
egg mixture. Pour into 9½" x 5½" x 2¾"
greased loaf pan with bottom lined
with waxed paper. Bake 1½ hrs
in 325° oven. Serve like fruitcake.
