Cranberry Sherbert
4 c. cranberries | 1t. plain gelatin |
2½ c. water | ¼ c. cold water |
1¼ c. gran sugar | 1 Tb lemon juice |
add sugar, bring to a boil. Soak
gelatin in ¼ c. water 5 min, stir into
hot syrup. Cool. add lemon juice.
Pour into freezing tray. Freeze until firm
Beat in chilled bowl with beater
until fluffy. Return to tray. Freeze fork. Serves 6-8
Lettuce & Chili Roquefort Salad Bowl
2 heads Iceberg lettuce | ½ t. paprika |
¼ LB [Roquefort | 4 Tb chili sauce |
1 clove garlic | 1 Tb lemon juice |
1/2 t. salt | ½ c. salad oil |
Break chilled lettuce in fairly large
pieces. Crumble cheese & sprinkle over.
Rub inside of glass jar with cut
side of garlic. Into jar put salt
