Waffles
2 C. sifted cake flour or 1¾ C. sifted flour | 1¼ C. milk |
¼ t. salt | 6 Tb. melted butter |
2 eggs | 4 t. baking powder |
Use mixer at high speed
throughout. Beat eggs 1 min. Add
milk and beat for 1 min. Add the
sifted dry ingredients to this mixture
and beat for 1 min. Add fat and beat for
15 sec or until mixture is thoroly
blended
Ham and String Bean Savory
Hot cornbread | 1½ C. Slivered cooked ham |
½ lb American cheese | 1½ C. cooked string beans |
⅔ C. milk | ½ t. Worcestershire sauce |
