2 C. sifted cake flour or 1¾ C. sifted flour	1¼ C. milk
¼ t. salt	6 Tb. melted butter
2 eggs	4 t. baking powder

Use mixer at high speed
throughout. Beat eggs 1 min. Add
milk and beat for 1 min. Add the
sifted dry ingredients to this mixture
and beat for 1 min. Add fat and beat for
15 sec or until mixture is thoroly
blended

Ham and String Bean Savory

Hot cornbread	1½ C. Slivered cooked ham
½ lb American cheese	1½ C. cooked string beans
⅔ C. milk	½ t. Worcestershire sauce
