Boil the potatoes. Put them thru a
fine sieve and place in warm bowl. Cut
the codfish in biggish cubes and cut boil
about 15 min. Dry quickly with a
napkin and add the hot potatoes. Don't
let it get cool and soggy!! Add butter
worcestershire, mustard, salt if necesary
and egg yolks, one by one. Stir briskly
Shape and roll in flour and fry in deep
fat

Toll House Indian Pudding
Scald 3 C. milk. Mix together 3 Tb.
Indian [corn] meal and ⅓ C. molasses. Stir
into the hot milk and cook until thick
stirring constantly. Remove from fire
and add ½ C. sugar, 1 beaten egg and
butter size of walnuts ¼ t. salt, and
½ t. each of ginger and cinnamon.
Mix thoroly. Pour into buttered
baking [dish] and put in 300° oven. In half
an hour, add 1 C. milk and continue baking
for 2 hrs.
