place until double. Chill, covered
in refrigerator at least 12 hrs. Rol
out, shaping 14"x6"x½" thick. With
floured knife cut off a strip ½" wide
cut in thirds. Braid and pinch ends
together. Use all dough this way
Put on greased baking sheet, cover
and raise until doubled. Bake in
375° for 12 min. Remove and frost
with 1 C. XXXX [ 4X = "fine" grain] sugar, 2 Tb. hot water
and ½ t. vanilla. Makes 12. May be
reheated in 375° oven for 3 min.
