My dear Boy,

Even the sun
refuses to be bright since
your going. Indeed it is
just now beginning to show
itself for the first time.
Yesterday we had a slow
drizzling rain most of the
day, which added to the
gloominess of us all.
But after due consideration
we all know that what
you are doing is the best
thing for you at this time
& we are constantly holding
the thot of health & strength
for you in this great work.
