Take 2 or 3 of the best Leamons & pare them as thin as possible you
you can & beat the Rinds In a stone morter, & pick out the Seeds
& bruise them both Into a vessell with a Gallon of Sack stopt
close for 24 hours, then still It IN a Glass still, & draw of as much
as you can & Sweeten it with the double Refined Suger desolved
or as you Like it/

A Sweet Water

Take 2 ounces of Benjamin 2 ounces of Storoax, one
graine of Musk beat them to powder beat also 10 Cloves very
Small, & 4 graines of Ambergreece 3 graines of Civitt, all
disolved In 3 or 4 dropps of the Juce of Leamon & a Little Suger
upon A Marable Stone, put all these Into 3 pints of
Damaske Rosewater, and halfe an Orrange pill & halfe A
Leamon pill well bruised, & halfe a pint of Orrange
flower water, put all these into a Bottle and shake, them
well together and keep your Bottle well Stopt, & In 2 or 3
weekes time you will have a very Excellent Sweet Water

A Sweet Bag
Halfe a ^lb of Cypras Roots 1 ^lb of f orris Root 3/4 of a ^lb of
Rodium 1 ^lb of Coriander Seeds 3/4 of a ^lb of Callimus 3 orranges
Stuck with Cloves, 2 ounces of Benjaminn 1 ounce of Storax
[Sovce] pecks of Damask Rose Leaves, a peck of Sweet Marger^um
dryed one Little handfull of Lavender [Knapps] A Stick of
of Juniper Shaved very thin, Some Leamons pills dryed
A Stick of [Brazzell] Shaved, Let all these be [grosely] pounded
& So put them Into a Bag.
