Friday, May 1, 1914
Perished no steam in house.
Wm. B. L & Mr Martin called & I was not
in. Mr Pischel Senr. & Geo Lee called & I was in.
Lunch at Progressive Club with Ethel &
Marjory Currey. Took Mrs Lee & Virginia
downstairs for some dinner & then walked
home so exhausted that I slept till
8 p m & got up & worked a little &
strummed. Went for singing lesson

Saturday 2
Got down at 11 and pottered about parade.
Lunch at Hearth with F. Sherwood, Miss H.
& Miss G. Wrote some letters. Went to
meet Mrs Browne & sit on stand & watch
Parade. Dinner at a new Cafeteria &
walked home. Worked a little. Very
cold on lake front but a fine clear day.

Sunday 3
Worked in room till six. Went to dinner
at Lincoln PkWay. Little Waitress told
me she was an art student. Walked
around the block in red dress
without coat returned to room & finished
revision of "Net of C' for Mills &
Boone. Warm showery day.
Some trees quite leafy on Superior St.
