Thursday, May 28, 1914
Went down to Seigel Coopers to look at a dress Mailed a letter each to D & Wm B. Mr Mullenbach called to shew [show] me his shoes. Wm B. called for a moment. Ethel & I had lunch at Carson Piries. I had dinner at Hearth alone & walked home & spent the evening reading a magazine & practised singing. Nellie Kruger called with my wash.

Friday 29
Got down at 9.30. Lunch with Ethel at Progressive & met Mrs Monroe. Went to singing lesson. Heavy rain. Wm B. came in at 5. At 6.30 we went to Tip-Top Inn for dinner. At eight Wm B. left me at Progressive Club where Sinclair & Lindsey spoke on Colorado. Home at 11.30. Warm day but cool at night.

Saturday 30
Went down to office at 10 & home with Miss H. for lunch. Back to room exhausted & slept till 4.00. Started on Cupid Story. Had three vocal practises. Dinner at Lincoln Parkway. Went to bed at 9.30 still very tired. Wish I had a little income so I cd. get off the wheel for a little while. Cool lovely day
