Miss Cornforth. Dinner
at Hearth alone & walked
home very discouraged.
Tues. 17
Dull cold day. Pottered
in office. Lunch with Ethel
at Hearth. Dinner alone
there and walked home.
Must free myself from Mrs R's
poisonous influence.
Wed. 18
Got down at 9.30.
Another profitless
miserable wasted day.
Miss Galvin met me at
the Hearth for dinner
