warm summer day at last.

Lovely warm day. E. Pischel
took me to lunch at Russian Place.
Dinner at Hearth with M. Mellen
& Margery Currey & walked
home with latter. Called
on Dr Young in afternoon.

Tues. 24
Lunch with Ethel at
Harmony. Dinner with
Miss Galvin at Hearth
& then we went to Colored
Lincoln celebration
in Coloseum. Cold.

Wed. 25
Pottered in office. Typed
3 chaps. of "On D
St". Lunch with Ethel
at "Harmony". Dinner
alone at Hearth so
exhausted that I flung [continued on next page]
