Worked in room all
day till 8. Then called on
Arnold & Louise. Wild night.
Arnold saw me home. Mr
& Mrs Barnaby back to take house.
Mon. 30
Got down at 9.30. Lunched
with Ethel at Skylite. Dinner
at Hearth alone & walked home.
Worked some but pretty
tired. Cold day but sun
now and again.
Tues. 31
Fine mildly warm day.
Miss K. Ryan took me to lunch
at Carson-Pirie's & then I went to
bank. Tea with Miss G. at Hillmans
& read "These Twain" Sept. install-
ment in Munsey's at pub. library
Dinner at Hearth with Dr Lobdell
& walked home.

Wed. 1
Lovely day. Miss G & I
went to lunch with Zona Gale
at the La Salle & I went back
to office. Then I went over
to Hillman's & saw Miss [contined on next page]
