JUNE 1944

11 Sun-1st after Trinity
S. Barnabas
Quite a nice day. Went
to S School in morning and taught
primary. Revised in afternoon. Went to
chapel in evening. Daddy preached. Brought
Taffy Betty Bill George and Jenny
in to supper.

12 Mon
Nice day. Went to school. Had all
[?] in history. Had a nice science
lesson. Had all revision homework
Colin popped in at tea time. Did homework
most by the evening and had a darn Taffy
came and drove [trac]

13 Tues - Last Quarter 3.56 p.m.
Rained in morning
but was fine later on. Made a meat stew
in cookery. Had to have gym instead of
games. Had Got all my maths done in free
lesson. Aunstie Kitty came to stay the
night. Revised History in evening.

14 Wed
Fairly nice day. Had a nice
science lesson. Went out in dinner hr and
got Margo a birthday card. Had a history
test on the Dual monarchy. Colin Gilbert
and Ernest have finished their ops.
Picked strawberries with Taffy in
evening.
