64 GARDEN WEIGHTS AND MEASURES Bundle : -- Asparagus (Norfolk) giant 12-14 sticks, Ex. Special 14-16, Special 25, Thin 2-24 lb. per bundle ; Asparagus (Evesham) bundle 120, 1/2 bundle (National Mark) 60 ; "Cape" Broccoli 12 ; Broccoli 18, 24. 30 per crate ; Celery (unwashed) 12-16 bundle, (washed) 12 fan ; Seakale 8 lb. box ; Rhubarb 20-24 sticks. Bunch : -- Carrots 36-40; Turnips 6 and 12 ; Radishes 24-36 according to season. Sieve or Bushel : Top diameter 17 1/2 in., depth 10 3/4 in. at circumference ; 10 in. at centre (Covent Garden size). The weight equivalent is 40 lb. of Apples and Pears, 56 lb. of Potatos; Greens cut and packed (also sold in bags) 30 lb. Half-Sieve : Top diameter 12 1/2 in., depth 6 in. ; Currants and Cherries 24 lb. net, Plums 28 lb. net. Bushel Box : -- Apples 40-44 lb., 1/2 box 20-22 lb. Shallows : -- Grapes 10-12 lb. Handle Baskets : --Grapes 4-6 lb. Punnets : -- Chips, 1 lb., 2lb. and 4 lb. for Strawberries, Raspberries, Loganberries ; 4 lb. and 6 lb. for Blackberries and Black Currants.
