JULY 1944

23 Sun - 7th after Trinity
Went to Sunday School
in morning and taught primary. Went to
S. School in afternoon. Listened to a play
whenI got home. Went to Chapel in evening
with Janet and Betty. Sermon was very
boring.

24 Mon
Lovely day. Didn't have any prop
lessons but just messed about and helped Miss
Borough to clean up. Watched VI form play staff
at tennis in afternoon. Mummy met us out of school
we had tea in the garden and then went to see
Goodbye Mr. Chips. Bill came with us.
Taffy & Leslie came in evening.

25 Tues - S. James
Lovely day. Looked at
Vogue's first free lessons. Then had lessons
as usual until afternoon, when we saw
dress rehersal of "As You Like It". Leslie
and Bill popped in in evening.

26 Wed
Very hot day. Helped with the
cooking for Parent's Day all the morning. Made
biscuits and buns. Saw plays by various forms
in afternoon. Had very interesting Bible class in evening.
Gerald, Joy Taffy, Bill and Leslie were there.
