NOVEMBER 1944

2 Thur
Cold day. Miss Tilly didn't turn
up until the end of the lesson. Did theory
in chemistry and practical in biology. Had
some fun. Denys and Dave came
in in evening.

3 Fri
Very cold windy day. Didn't get
much work done in free lessons. Went
out in dinner hour and June Mac took our
photos. Cold playing games in afternoon.
We went with Bill & Denys to a musical
concert on the drome. It was wonderful.

4 Sat - s.r. 6.48, s.s. 4.29
Very cold day. Helped
Mummy all the morning. Cleaned the
bathroom and the hall. Went to Sutton
and did errands in afternoon. Bill Colin & Dave
came in too. We had some fun.

The present is a good time to make a new plantation
of Raspberries on ground which has been thoroughly
prepared. Cut down all newly-planted canes to within
6 inches of the ground during the following February.
