My Dear James
Your welcome letter from
Brisbane with your pleasant visit
caused us much pleasure. The
only drawback to my mind was
the extra expenses. I had upon the
whole a satisfactory visit to Berrima
- {indecipherable} Fanny as much as I could
in her pecuniary affairs. I paid her
the £5 for {indecipherable} for George and left
her my cheque for £5 to pay {indecipherable}
Mr Semple sent a Bill as due from
Mr Hebblewhites Estate for £10 - £2-17-6 the bal
of Church {indecipherable} £12-17-6 Fanny
thought you might have paid it & there
-fore I wrote to ask them but no ans'
had returned when she sent your note
so that I hope they had been paid -
All were well when I left I have
settled with {indecipherable} about {indecipherable}
I sent a request to remove his
sheep - The Rent commences 30 March
{indecipherable} Sunday I preached at the Jail 12 present
