is paid she has money to settle this
- I went to {indecipherable} Monday with
{indecipherable} - Tuesday took Fanny to see Mrs
Thos Nicholson- I visited the Church
It seems a great pitty(sic) they do not
get it plastered & coloured - In the
morning visited (?) prisoners in the cells
One of them wanted a Reference Bible
& prayer book both a good size; not
too large he says he can pay for
them. I left a mem.d for you about
it. I wrote on this letting {indecipherable} when
they came to hand & when answered
- I forgot to state that I went to
Bowral called to Mr Hy Rileys (?) who
was very ill - I felt much called
again after service. The Doctor
had been there He had a blister on

- At Bowral I had 2 men 3 female &
abt 15 or 20 child'n - preached to the latter
- Home in the eveng after tea at Henrys.
Singing prayers & bed - Wed I left for
home Dined at (?) Oxleys who was
cheerful & up - They wished me to
stay the night but as Lizzy was
going away I wished to be home on
Thursday - came to Martins not
very well the heat so great - & started
abt 7 I {indecipherable} to Jarvisfield - Very poorly
there was afraid I should have to re-
main all night. better towards eveng
I got home safely but fatigued -

The Dean has been very ill & con-
fined to his bed - I received a note
from Mrs C - yesterday he was better
but not down stairs - Your Dear
Mother continues well - John Harris
& Babe Lizzy & {indecipherable} Hope & Charles
Cowper (?) all left in the city of
Melbourne for Victoria - We shall
look anxiously for letters from them
