Emtied the Cassel field & turned in the
Neags Neat yesterday & to day the Ther
Stood at 96 each day Very Dry. our
corn Twisted into Strings Irish Potatoe tops
Dying

Tuesday the 1st July 1856 Commenced Cutting
Oats in the afternoon We finished hawling
in our Bearded Wheat before noon
at naight we had the Hardest rain we
have had for several years with some
wind that blowed our corn and oats down
Washed our fields verry much
