it has rained everyday for 10 or 12
days [growed] thoroughly soaked

Thursday the 30th July trashed
wheat all day same hand we had
yesterday + Brad Matheis [ ]

not much rain today

Friday 31 July 1857 thrashed wheat all day

Satuday 1 Aug 1857 Hulled in oat all day
with two wagons sowed a small lot of
turnips today

Monday the 3rd August 1857 thrashed wheat all
day rained a good shower in the afternoon
and at night a very hard rain

forenoon, moderately + in the evennig a very
ahrd rain growed thoroughly soaked
thrashed wheat when it was not raining

thrashing wheat at noon today
in the evening we had a verry hard

of the corn down + broke [] off
