State College 273

Degrees had been awarded Tues-
day to 305 candidates by N. C. State
College as the institution concluded
its commencement exercises and stu-
dents then turned their faces home-
ward again.

It was the largest graduating class
in the history of the college. Am-
bassador Josephus Daniels presented
diplomas at closing exercises Tues-
day evening in Riddick Stadium.
