Cod Fish Balls
2 tblsp salt fish (cod)
¼ cup raw potato
1 tblsp well beaten egg
½ tsp butter
Wash and pick over cod
fish Soak over night lift out
of water and boil with potatoes
until potatoes are done
Drain off water and wash
potatoes add butter and
egg Beat with a fork 2
minutes Take up by spoons
full place in a frying
basket and fry to a delicate
brown in deep fat Drain on
soft cumbled absorbant paper
Balls may be dredged slightly
with flour before frying
