fruit salads particularly
(in note book) If the vinegar is sour
use ½ vinegar + ½ water Use lemon
juice in place of vinegar
Apple + celery salad
½ c of celery cut in ¼ in pieces
½ c of apples one lettuce leaf 1 nut
Directions for use
Clean + scour the celery remove
all dark stains then cut it up
pare + peel the apple cut into ¼ in
cubes keep in cold water until
ready for use to prevent discoloring
+ to keep them crisp ½ tsp lemon
juice pour off the water add lemon
juice to apples mix with the celery
Put 1 tblsp of salad dressing on top
garnish with a whole nut or
white grape
