Canned Apples
1 qt of washed pared + cored
apples cut in ¼" ⅓ c sugar
water enough to be seen cook
over slow fire until tender
put in a sterile jar using
sterile utensils + seal.
Cranberry preserves
1 lb cranberry 1 lb sugar ½ c
water make a syrup
then add cranberry cook until
soft then put in sterlize jar.
Cranberry Jelly
Wash cranberries cover with
water and cook until berries
burst strain the juice through
a jelly bag to one qt of juice
add ¾ ofqt or cup of sugar
let come to a boil + put in
a sterilized jelly glass
