brown sugar One pint of vinegar
One oz stick of cinnamon Boil
sugar cinnamon and vinegar
20 min Pare, core and quarter the
apples Stick each quarter with two
or three cloves Put apples into the
syrup and cook until soft
Using ½ the apples at a time.
