Portiers from 10 A.M. until
3:15. Herb and I had one
grand time and proceeded to
drink much wine. Arrived
at Tours at 6:30. Got out to
the field about eight o'clock.
We found a lot of the old St. M.
boys here. Some of them
have their commissions. My
first impression of the place
leads me to believe that I
will like it here very much. The
quarters are crowded, but the
food is splendid. There are French
girls to wait on the table. No
more washing of our own
dishes, and no more K.P.
