Tuesday June 18 '18.
Went up, but came right
down as it was too rough. I
am just about all in. I was on
the field steadily from 4 A.M.
until 10:30, then drilled from
10:30 until 11:30. I feel as if I
had just finished a "grave yard"
shift. Slept all afternoon, and
thank God it was too windy to
fly tonight. A Twin drive
Caudron (J Kat) crashed
on the field this morning. The
piolet is not expected to live.

Made out my first pay
voucher. No flying for me
as Purchas is breaking in
