Four planes were smashed
this morning. I saw two smash
on our field. The only casualties
was on broken nose. The
plane turned over on its back.
It's a funny sight to see a plane
go on its nose and then flop
over on to its back. — Purchas
had a tooth ache, and we
pupils certainly caught thunder.
Once up in the air he threatened
to turn aournd and "smash
me one" if I didn't kuit
freezing onto the controls.
The trouble was that I
was trying to do one thing
and he was trying to do
another.
