preparations and numerous ethnological specimens. This vast Collection packed in 125cases embraces over 15,000 specimens with their scientific and english names and habitation. They are classified according to the Smithsonian publications and those of the British Museum. A copy of the catalogue of my Collection can be finished within a reasonable time. It is my intention to dispose of the Collection together with a powerful Solar Microscope for ten thousand dollars. If I can render any assistance in putting up a Museum or Zoographicon for your Institution please command my services. Prof. Spencer F. Baird of the Smithsonian or Prof. [O.?]C. Marsh of Yale College will have the kindness to give information of my character.
