by a great wall with
turrets, that give the
whole place a very
interesting and ancient
appearance. We hiked
from the statiuon along
the cog railroad up the
hill into the town in
a pouring rain. The
town is about a mile and
a half from the station.
The Amer. have a large
school near here. I never
saw so many high
ranking officers before.
We cadets are a great
curiosity. No one seems
to know what we are.
