1 Stormy fresh south west breeze rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.90. General duties for the day. Five visitors were shown in the tower.

2 Fresh to light south west wind rain fog. Sea mod. Bar 29.94. Keeper washing. 1st and 2nd asst working in there quarters. 20 cases of oil were put in butts.

3 Light south west breeze clear dry. Sea mod. Bar 29.95. Keeper and 2nd asst went to Newport to vote in AM. 1st asst went to Newport to vote in PM. Four visitors shown in tower. 2nd asst left station at 5:00 PM to go to Newport.

4 Light south west wind cloudy dry. Sea smooth. Heavy swell. Bar 30.02. Second asst returned to station at 3:00 PM. Keeper 1st and 2nd asst cleaning lens lantern windows.

5 Light westerly wind dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.10. 1st asst went to Newport for mail. Keeper writing. 2nd asst washing. New wicks were put in lens burner.

6 Light north west wind dense fog damp. Sea smooth. Bar 30.18. Keeper working on len strainer. 1st and 2nd asst working on the barn.

7 Light northerly to noth east wind fog at times dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.20. 1st and second asst cleaning oil carriers. Keeper went to Newport for mail & supplies.

8 Light easterly wind clear dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.18. General duties for the day.

9 Light easterly wind clear dry warm. Sea smooth. Bar 29.79. Keeper and 2nd asst cleaning lantern windows. 1st asst went to Newport for mail.

11 Light south east wind cloudy damp. Sea smooth. Bar 30.20. Keeper writting. 1st asst washing. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail & supplies.

22 South west squalls thunder & lightning rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.60. General duties for the day. 2nd asst returned to station at 3:00 PM.

23 South west to westerly wind rain squalls. Sea rough. Bar 29. Keeper and 2nd asst working in shop. 1st asst went to Newport for supplies.
