Rock Spring
June 1st 1897 noon 66°

The fates which for several years
have conspired against our seeing this
place at its best, gave us a perfect
June afternoon for this meeting. It
appeared to be by a desperate effort
for the morning which preceed it, was
threatening, and during the night
which followed it there was frost
weather during the hours devoted
to the Horticultural

The attendance was good and it
would be a more unappreciative person
than we noted among those present
to require written minutes to recall the
enjoyment of the occasion

Poultry report
Alloway 120 chickens
Avalon 250 chickens 8 Turkies 18 ducks
Brooke Grove 350 chickens 17 Turkies
The Cedars 100 chickens
Cloverley 80 chickens 14 Turkies

Falling Green 275 chickens 38 Turkies
