It rained several times during
last night, cloudy & foggy this morning.
Julia Berry & her mother
(from beyond Spencerville) were here
for advice & medicine for "Julia".
Willie drove over to see William
Thomas (colored) on Mrs. Janney's place
trying to "collect" for me & to E Peirce's
for one of the girls to come & help us
about the papering in dining room.
Fanny & Alice both came & helped
paper. Emma J Davis called and
made a small payment on her
bill. Alfd: King's wife was here &
had a tooth extracted. After supper
Willie took Alice & Fanny Peirce home
in the "Surry".

Rained last night in showers
& has been threatning all day
Jos: Bond Jr: was here again
to consult me. Dora & Willie
worked at papering in the
dining room. Mrs Rodney Boswell
sent for medicine.
