Taycheeda- a flourishing village at the head of L. Winnebago in Fond du Lac Co.

Taycheeda is a flourishing little village which has within a year or two sprung up at the southern extremity of the lakes, upon the Fond du Lac prairie. A well stocked mercantile establishment has been started here by an enterprising firm; at which the farmers of this district, we are informed, find a ready sale, at the current prices, for their produce, and are enabled to get their necessary supplies at fair rates. The town being advantageously situated to secure the trade of the productive agricultural region by which it is surrounded, will of course continue to progress.
