July 9 I see a letter from G W Gordon to James Akens saying that Thomas was sick but not bad

July 10 renewed the Telegraph despatch to Thomas and wrote a letter to G W Gordon

July 11 Recd answer from Thomas to my Teligraph dispatch in these word “ I have been unwell not enough to create any alarm what ever “ T L Porter

12 Mary ann came to Town to day on her way to Sandusky to see Thomas but after seeing his dispatch went home again
