Feby 12 --- I went Wed 12 to Maryanns & came home Thursday 13

12 Feby The Southern soldiers ^{at night} agin camping in my Woods lott (awful distruction) Wednesday 12 of Feby these soldiers are Genl Forrest brigade Col Starns Regt they left some of them & crossed the river 21st Feby the Waggon trane & Company G stayed until 2nd March & they left all except 3 or 4 tents that stayed upon the account of the small pox having been in them they left 6th Apl 1863

Feby Sat 14 Thomas & Fanna left Sat 14th Feby

Mon 16 Preston Granvill , Red & Alfred left to repair & fic up the Kitrell house for Thomas & Fanna to move in to ( the boys came back Sat the 21 Feby )

Wed 25. Col. Cyrus A. Sugg & Thomas Sugg & T. Mallery came here Tues 24th & went away Th 26.

Wed Feby 25 Our Cavalry crossing the River (for two days) yesterday & today determined to fight, probably at Franklin (Vandorn, Forrest & Wheeler making a force of the verry heavy rain to day may keep the fight off a few days but not longer
