Granville is verry sick sent for Dr Akins he could not come & sent for Dr Pillow he came & give him Medicines
(Morgan) Doct Pillow gives us the news of the probable Capture of Genl Morgan & his Command in the Northern States (confirmed)
Sat 1st Augt.) [hand pointing right] No important news A heavy rain Our Wheat in the field I fear will spoil Granville was taken sick bad off Tuesday 21st July of Tyfoid fever No better yet Doct Akin & Doct Pillow have both been attending to him Adaline is sick 1st Augt.
