Th 22 I went to town after dinner No particular news only some excitement about the Prisoners & Citizens that was brought in yesterday by the Fedrals

1863 Fri 23 Octr.) The morning is verry rainey having rained nearly all night & until 12 o'clock & considerable Cooler Wind from the North.

A large raid of Fedrels passed on the Sigbyville pike this morning South through the rain. They returned back late in the morning South through the rain. They returned back late in the evening with negroes & horses We learn they done some damage at the Tan yard at Bigbyville.
