Sat 7. I went to Town Wm J & Green wet back to Lawrence burg Nothing worth relating The Fedrels took off 80 negro men to day

1863 Novr 8 Sun) We have had several clear pretty days it is a little cloudy this morning I heard no news this morning. William & Thomas still absent, I am by my self.

Mon 9th - News) I sold the big Rone horse to day for $100.00 (in green backs) to Mr Owen not a shoulder, not enough, but perhaps it is for the best. I reckon we could not keep him much longer. - -

Tu 10 William came home in Marys Carriage Mary stayed until after dinner I did not go to Town No particular news

Wed 11 I went to Town got my claim of the Government signed by Col Misener. No particular news
