Sat 26 W J Porter It rained last night Wind from the East. All is well I went to Town William J Porter Wagons came up with a load of Cotton last night & went back after another this morning

Sun 27. It rained slightly nearly all last night Verry cloudy this morning heavy trains of wagons passing nearly all day. N. & S.
It rained slowly all day & until about Midnight No particular news The Wind is South. ( I stayed at home)

Mon 28 The morning is verry cloudy the wind is from the S. W. & West flying clouds Wind high, strong appearance of rain & snow Snowed a little at 8 o'clock A. M. the after part of the day the wind changed to the West North West & turned cold cloudy all day Wind high at 9 o'clock at night. I went to Town No particular news.

Tues 29 The sun rose clear the Wind in the West Jack Porter E. Bennet Jabex X. Dickinson & [blank] Gordon stayed all night.
